Registering with one of the affiliated clubs listed below automatically enrolls your child in the Logan Basketball Junior Club Competition. We cater to all skill levels and abilities, ensuring a fun and safe environment for children aged 8-19 years. With divisions for everyone, our staff and clubs work hard to make sure your child enjoys the game.

Summer Season 2025 Info & Dates:

15 rounds of fun, social, and competitive basketball for junior players!

Venues:

Friday Night Games (U16-19): Cornubia Park Sports Centre, including Shailer Park MPS, and Mount Warren Park Sports Centre.
Saturday Games (U10-14): Cornubia Park Sports Centre, including Shailer Park MPS.

Notice: The U16 Boys competition will return to Friday nights at Cornubia Park Sports Centre and Mt Warren Park Sports Centre, alongside the U19 Boys and Youth Girls competitions.

Costs

Club Fee: Varies by club.

Logan Basketball Competition Fee:

U10: ~~$180~~ $100 for half season (Term 1)
U12-14: ~~$275~~ $150 for half season (Term 1)
U16-19: ~~$286~~ $160 for half season (Term 1)

Basketball Queensland Membership Fee (12-month insurance):

U10: $37.63 + GST
U12-19: $75.26 + GST

Basketball Australia Levy (12-month):

All age groups: $5 + GST

How old to play?

7-19 yr olds can play
Separated by
Under 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, 19s.

How are players separated in terms of skill?

Players are separated by ability and put into divisions within each club, so your child will play at an appropriate level relative to skill and experience.

What is the difference between each club?

All clubs consist of fantastic volunteer committees and coaches. The main difference between each club is day and venue of training as to what suits your direct needs and where you live.

Costs?

Dependent on age and club chosen – (roughly $440 per season)

How long is the season?

14 rounds + finals if their team is eligible. This season, there will also be a 15th round for non-finals teams, held during the semi final round.

I have a Fair Play Voucher; can I use this for a discount?

We accept Fair Play vouchers. Please email the voucher to juniorcompetition@loganbasketball.com BEFORE registering.

Following our staff redeeming the voucher with the QLD Government, you will be provided a discount code to then register your child in Basketball Connect.
