As an affiliated association of Basketball Queensland and Basketball Australia, Logan Basketball follows all policies, program/competition rules, and integrity resources as managed by the governing body of the sport in Queensland and Australia.

Logan Basketball is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all children and young people can participate, learn, and enjoy the game of basketball.
Logan Basketball has a zero tolerance policy to child abuse or neglect in any form and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children.
Logan Basketball is committed to ensuring that everyone involved in basketball is educated and informed of their responsibilities to protect and look after Children.
Logan Basketball aims to create and maintain an inclusive, child safe environment that is understood, endorsed, implemented, and adhered to by everyone.
All Children have the right to feel safe and protected from all forms of abuse, harm, neglect and participate in sport within a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment
Our organisation promotes a child safe culture by:
• Embedding the principles of the National Child Safe Standards and complying with Queensland’s Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.
• Ensuring all staff, coaches, referees, and volunteers hold a valid Blue Card and complete regular child protection training.
• Listening to, empowering, and respecting the voices of children and young people.
• Responding swiftly, fairly, and transparently to any concerns, disclosures, or allegations of harm.
