Logan Basketball U14 Semi-Finals & Finals
We’re incredibly proud to share that 6 of our 8 Logan Basketball U14 teams advanced to the Semi-Finals over the weekend. Following some fantastic performances, 4 of those teams secured their place in the SQJBC Final yesterday.
Logan Thunder U14 Boys – Gold Medalists
Our Thunder Boys delivered an outstanding performance against Northside in the Grand Final. After a tight start, the boys stepped up and powered through to a dominant 99–69 victory. With an undefeated season under their belts, they now shift focus to the State Championships in Townsville, determined to carry their momentum and bring it home.
Logan Thunder U14 Girls – Silver
Our Thunder Girls fought hard in a gripping Grand Final against Spartans. Despite a great game from both sides, the girls narrowly missed out with a 58–53 loss. The team remains focused and hungry as they head to State Champs, aiming to secure a spot at Club Nationals later this year.
Logan Thunder Blue Girls – Gold Medal
The Blue Girls have had an incredible season, overcoming adversity and stepping up when it mattered most. They delivered a strong performance in the final against Eastside, coming away with a 45–35 win. With their promotion to a higher division for State Champs, the girls are ready to meet the challenge head-on.
Logan Thunder Maroon Boys – Silver
Our Maroon Boys faced the undefeated Northside team. Despite a valiant effort, they went down 85–55. Still, the boys have moved up a division for State Champs and are looking forward to gaining valuable experience and making their mark.
We are extremely proud of all our Logan Basketball teams. The dedication and hard work shown by our players, coaches, and supportive families continue to push our club forward. We can’t wait to see our teams compete at the State Championships!
