Logan Basketball is proud to announce an extension of the partnership between Logan Thunder and Marsden State High School, strengthening our commitment to growing basketball across the Logan region.
This collaboration will provide students at Marsden State High with enhanced opportunities both on and off the court.
3 current Marsden students: Sienna Bourke, Tereise Reupena, and Sinai Foai as well as Marsden staff member Amandine Toi were part of the Bendigo Bank Logan Thunder women’s team that won the 2025 NBL1 North championship.
Logan Basketball will provide the Marsden Basketball Excellence program with –
- Direct exposure to elite-level training environments
- Joint clinics, development sessions, and mentoring opportunities
- Real performance pathways for student-athletes
- A stronger link between school basketball and the Logan Thunder program

The collaboration allows us to further develop our game in the heart of Logan, provide pathways for high potential student athletes from Marsden, and utilise the Marsden Centre of Excellence facility.
