Saturday night, following the conclusion of the men’s game, Logan Basketball honoured two long standing Thunder Family members who will feature in their final season for the McDonald’s Logan Thunder men. Forward Tom Ammar and Head Coach Luke Cann.Tom Ammar has proudly worn the #55 Thunder jersey for 140* senior representative games, a true testament to his commitment to the Logan Basketball after growing up in our community and developing all the way trough the Thunder pathway.
Luke Cann will step away as one of the most successful coaches in Thunder history. Over 10 seasons at Logan (163 games), Luke has racked up an overall record of 114–49 (69.8% winning percentage):
– Men: 99–45 (68.5%) over 9 seasons
– Women: 15–4 (78.9%) over 1 season
