Junior Representative Program
With teams entered in Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s, Under 18s, and QSLY for both boys and girls, our junior representative program is one of the most successful in Queensland. The program features the best talent from the Logan Basketball domestic competition, competing against Associations across Queensland from the Gold Coast right up to Cairns.
Logan Thunder teams have won 4 x State Championships in 2024 including the u18 Girls, U16 Boys and Girls and the U14 Girls.
In 2023, Logan Thunder U14 teams attended the Basketball Australia Club national championships with the Girls winning a bronze medal and the Boys finishing in 5th place.
The Logan Thunder junior representative program is a pathway for players and coaches to represent Queensland, Australia and attend college in the USA or play professionally.
Trial and Season Schedule
Trials for junior representative teams are held in the first week of each term, leading up to the respective age group competitions:
- Term 1: U16 Boys and Girls SQJBC Competition
- Term 2: U14 Boys and Girls SQJBC Competition
- Term 3: U12 Boys and Girls SQJBC Competition
- Term 4: U18 Boys and Girls SQJBC Competition
State Championships are held following the conclusion of the SQJBC season in the school holidays immediately preceding the term.
To be eligible to trial in the Logan Thunder program you must be registered to a Logan Basketball Affiliated Club and play in the Junior Club Competition.
