NBL1 North McDonald’s Logan Thunder Men Player Announcement x 2: Tyrone Fui and Reegan Trego

We are excited to announce that Tyrone Fui and Reegan Trego have signed with the McDonald’s Logan Thunder Men for the 2021 NBL1 North Season. Both Tyrone and Reegan are Logan Thunder Juniors who have developed through our pathway and will this season spend time transitioning into the NBL1 program with bright futures head.

Tyrone and Reegan recently won the U21 SQJBC Championship with our U21 Logan Thunder men and previously won a Bronze medal at the 2020 U18 Queensland State Championships with our U18 Logan Thunder men playing alongside NBL1 teammate Tane Kirisome. Reegan has previously represented New Zealand at the U15 FIBA Oceania Cup. Reegan is a point guard who uses his strength and quickness to allow him to be a tough perimeter defender at the senior representative level. Tyrone’s length and athleticism allow him to defend, rebound, slash and attack the rim. With continue development both players best basketball is yet to come.
