NBL1 North Fixture Released for 2025 Season
Basketball Queensland is excited to announce the release of the 2025 NBL1 North fixture.
The 2025 season promises intense competition and thrilling basketball action across the state.
With 12 clubs from Far North Queensland to the Gold Coast, a total of 24 teams – both men’s
and women’s – will battle it out over 13 regular season rounds.
Rivals Round to Ignite the Season
The season will commence with a bang, as the opening round will feature a highly anticipated
Rivals Round. This will reignite local derbies and long-standing rivalries, setting the stage for a
thrilling season!
Themed Rounds to return in 2025
NBL1 North will continue its tradition of themed rounds, highlighting important community
causes. Heritage Round (30-31 May 2025) and First Nations Round (4-6 July 2025) will
celebrate the rich cultural diversity and history of basketball in Queensland.
Postseason and National Finals
Following the regular season, the league will transition into the post-season. A series of finals
rounds will lead up to the anticipated Grand Finals weekend, where the top North teams will
compete for the 2025 Championship title. The NBL1 National Finals will be held a fortnight later.
