National Performance Camp (NPC) — Centre of Excellence ✨

What it is:
The National Performance Camp is Basketball Australia’s elite development camp delivered through the Centre of Excellence (CoE). It brings together the country’s most promising junior basketball talent for a high-performance training and learning experience. The NPC is a key part of the national high-performance pathway, helping athletes understand elite training expectations and develop skills needed for future representative basketball.

  • The 2026 NPC was held at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra from 20–23 January 2026.

  • It involved a group of nationally selected U17/U18 boys and girls participating in on-court sessions, physical conditioning, skill workshops, and development education.

Purpose of the camp:

  • NPC helps set a national performance benchmark for emerging talent across Australia.

  • Athletes participate in drills, situational training, education on high-performance habits, and learn what is required to progress toward professional and international opportunities.

We want to take a moment to congratulate Jay Sebasio, Maddison Reisinger, Olivia Olechnowicz and Jordan Kaesler on their recent experience at the Centre of Excellence National Performance Camp (NPC).

Being selected for this opportunity is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and dedication to their development. We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to watching them continue to grow.
