Maccas Logan extend as naming rights partner for 2 more years

Logan Basketball is excited to announce that McDonald’s Logan have renewed as major naming rights partner for 2 additional years.

The renewal strengthens what has become a key partnership for Logan Basketball with extension now surpassing 10 years. The Thunder Family is proud to continue on the journey with the McDonald’s Logan Family.

LBI General Manager Mitch Young said:

“We are excited to extend our partnership with Maccas Logan. Their ongoing support has been instrumental in our success, and we look forward to achieving greater positive outcomes for our community . I would like to personally thank and acknowledge Caroline Ting on behalf of the entire Thunder Family for her belief and passion for Logan Thunder Basketball.”

The partnership has featured a number of key highlights since 2015 including –

  • Growth of 60% in Logan Basketball participation membership
  • 10 x Junior State Championships
  • One of the most successful NBL1 North programs in Queensland
  • Low cost access to basketball and sport for the City of Logan community
  • Over $40,000.00 raised for Ronald McDonald House Charity

The announcement comes 8 weeks out from the 2025 NBL1 north season where the McDonald’s Logan Thunder Men will begin their campaign on May 2 against the Southern District Spartans.
