Boys National Champions:

Fresh off an undefeated Queensland State Championship campaign, the Thunder U14 boys carried their momentum into the national tournament. Facing powerhouse associations including Bankstown Bruins, North Adelaide Rockets, and Nunawading Spectres, the team held their own across tough pool matchups and classification rounds. Their consistent effort and composure against elite opposition reinforced Logan’s reputation as one of Australia’s top junior programs.

The Thunder boys were crowned national champions defeating North Adelaide in the grand final to be confirmed as the best team in Australia. The results marks the first time a Queensland boys team has ever won a club national championship.

The Thunder U14 girls also put in an inspiring performance against some of the country’s top clubs. Competing in a high-calibre draw, they demonstrated strong defensive effort and resilience throughout pool play. While the result did not fall their way in the semi final, their determination and teamwork shone through, bouncing back the next day to finish the tournament in 3rd place with a Bronze medal.
