Logan Basketball is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified candidates for the roles of Logan Thunder Women’s and Men’s NBL1 Head Coach for the 2025 NBL1 North Season.
Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Coach of our Logan Thunder NBL1 team’s will be responsible for the recruitment, preparation, development and coaching of players for the NBL1 North competition in 2025 and beyond.
Our Head Coaches will lead each senior program with a goal to continue to build a strong relationship with the junior representative program and players, and a connection to the Thunder Family community.
Key Attributes:
- An in-depth knowledge of coaching basketball at the NBL1 or higher level
- Outstanding communication, delivery and managerial skills within a coaching and player development environment
- A willingness to continue to build a program that places an emphasis on featuring Logan Thunder players and to help build a pathway for junior development
- Be willing to work with our junior program and oversee the QSL program as a pathway into NBL1
- Ability to create a professional culture that places an emphasis on holistic development and community impact
- Organised, adaptable and willing to work within the structure of the wider association
- Driven and disciplined towards success on and off the court
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Working with Children’s Check / Current Blue Card
- Experience coaching within an NBL1 or higher level program
