Vince Hickey Shield:
The Vince Hickey Shield award recognises the overall champion association based on Basketball Queensland State Championship results. Logan Thunder representative teams achieved remarkable success, winning four of the eight titles available: Under 18 Girls, Under 16 Boys, Under 16 Girls, and Under 14 Girls State Championships. Notably, Logan’s success marks only the third time ever that an association has won half of the state championships since Townsville in 2018 and Spartans in 2014.
A historic achievement as it is the first time in the association’s 26-year history that they have received this honour. Congratulations to Logan Basketball.
Harold Peacock Shield:
The Harold Peacock Shield award recognises the champion association based on Basketball Queensland SQJBC results. Logan Thunder junior representative teams achieved remarkable success winning 5 out of 8 age groups including U18 girls , U16 boys and girls and U14 boys and girls.
