“The Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre and Cornubia Park Precinct is experiencing all time high community use – more courts in the precinct are vital for our members with Logan Basketball one of the fastest growing associations, in the fastest growing sport in Queensland.”
“We welcome the facility development commitments – solar is something we have been actively working towards. Installation would reduce our environmental footprint and decrease electricity expenses in turn keeping LBI’s management of the venue at low cost for the community.”
“Funding towards the cafe/club room redevelopment would provide essential upgrade of the cafe towards improved service for venue users. This type of upgrade is crucial for both regular venue users and to support the increasing number of large events and multi-sport tournaments we continue to host.”
The election commitments from both candidates are set to deliver positive outcomes and lasting community health and wellness benefits fostering greater participation into the future.
