Partnership with Basketball Queensland
Recognising the crucial role officials play in our game, we are joining forces with Basketball Queensland to provide dedicated resources and support for our referees. This collaborative effort will ensure consistent training, mentorship, and improved game outcomes for all players and stakeholders.
Welcoming Cameron Praeger to the Team
Cameron Praeger brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the referee space. He began his journey in 2004 as a club referee before rising through the ranks to officiate at both a state and national level. Having Cameron join LBI will open up more opportunities for our Logan referees to gain support, guidance, and experience at all levels. Through structured development programs and supportive frameworks, Logan Basketball is working with Basketball Queensland to actively meet this demand.
Cameron’s Vision for Referee Development
Cameron shared his excitement about the new role:

The continual development and improvement of officials at an association level is important as it allows the growth of the game and association. I am excited to continue building on the positive environment that you have established here at Logan.
