2025 U18 State Championships Wrap-up
U18 Boys Division 1
Finished: 6th in Premier League
The U18 boys had a solid campaign at the State Championships, with some impressive wins and narrow losses. Featuring a number of bottom-agers, this team gained invaluable experience in a highly competitive environment. This will undoubtedly set them up for a strong season ahead!
U18 Girls Division 1
Finished: 2nd in Premier League
The U18 girls had a rollercoaster week, battling through both great victories and tough losses. They kept pushing forward, earning themselves a spot in the semifinals, where they convincingly defeated Spartans. In the State Championship final, they faced Mackay and, despite putting up a strong fight, were defeated. The girls’ effort and determination were outstanding as they represented Logan.
U18 Gold Boys Division 2
Finished: 1st in League 3
The U18 Gold boys were exceptional throughout the championships. They came together as a team and earned a spot in the League 3 Grand Final. In a thrilling final, the boys held their nerve in a nail-biting finish to secure a win, overcoming Mackay in a memorable showdown.
U18 Girls Division 2
Finished: 1st
The U18 Girls had an incredible State Championship, going undefeated throughout the entire tournament. They achieved some big wins, and their teamwork was outstanding at every turn. In the Grand Final, they faced Toowoomba in a thrilling, back-and-forth battle. The Logan girls came together when it mattered most and secured a hard-fought victory. We are beyond proud of these girls and their remarkable achievement!
U18 Blue Boys Division 3
Finished: 12th in League 3
Despite facing injuries within the team, the U18 Blue boys displayed incredible resilience and determination. In true Logan style, they pushed through adversity, played hard, and showcased some great basketball. We are extremely proud of their effort and spirit!
U18 Maroon Boys Division 4
Finished: 2nd in League 6
The U18 Maroon boys went undefeated all the way to the State Championship final, where they met another undefeated team, Spartans. The boys’ commitment, dedication, and team culture were clear throughout the tournament, with noticeable improvement from everyone. Although they were defeated by Spartans in the final, they had an exceptional campaign and demonstrated the strength of their growth and teamwork.
U18 White Boys Division 5
Finished: 6th in League 6
The U18 White team showed great enthusiasm and fight throughout the championships. Despite a few tough results, they gave it their all in every game. Their passion and determination made us extremely proud, and they represented Logan with heart and grit.
